Raised in Jackson Township, Hawke's journey began at the very school where she now serves.

"I was born and raised in Jackson Township and after completing my education, I came back... it is a great community with everything you need to thrive and raise a family.”

Her return to Jackson High School as an AT was a natural step, driven by her passion for sports and her desire to help athletes.

Hawke's high school years were marked by her active participation in volleyball and basketball. This experience, coupled with her own interactions with Athletic Trainers during injuries, inspired her to pursue a career in athletic training.

"It would allow me to stay involved in all types of athletics and help our young people stay healthy while enjoying the sports they love."

A graduate of Wilmington College, Hawke’s role extends beyond injury prevention and rehabilitation. She offers on-site coverage of numerous sports events, ensuring the safety and health of athletes in various disciplines.

“Athletic trainers’ duties at the high school level encompass many aspects of both the physical and mental health of the student athletes."

In her role as a sports medicine coordinator, Hawke assists with the day-to-day operations of the sports medicine team at Aultman, handling tasks ranging from payroll to functional competencies.

Mentored by professionals like Dr. Jeff Dulik, Dr. Ryan Escbaugh, and Dr. Vince Wake, Hawke credits them for their role in shaping her career. Her favorite pastimes reflect her love for sports and the outdoors, from beach outings to hiking, and enjoying quiet evenings around a fire with her family.

With 23 years of marriage to Todd and parenting 20-year-old twins Brady and Kylie, alongside her loyal dog Ozzie, Hawke's life is a blend of professional dedication and personal contentment. Her commitment to athletic training at Jackson High School is not just a job but a way to give back to the community that shaped her.
