The Summer Olympics are a mix of highs and lows for the world’s best athletes, who endure wins, losses, pride, pain, shattered records, and injuries.
As Team USA Olympians and Paralympians compete in Paris, medical staff will be there to support every moment—and they'll be wearing some... stylish outfits.
What do you think? Yay or nay?
For the first time, over 250 healthcare professionals on the Team USA Medical Team have a uniform, thanks to Figs, a medical apparel brand. Figs cofounder and CEO Trina Spear:
“This is the first time ever that a medical team has been outfitted for any country for the Olympic Games."
The collaboration aims to spotlight healthcare professionals. Dr. Gloria Beim, a long-time Team USA physician, praised the partnership, saying it highlights the dedication and sacrifices of healthcare workers.
Figs’ multiyear deal with the USOPC extends through the 2028 Games, marking their largest marketing venture. Their campaign, “Anatomy of a Champion,” emphasizes the vital role of medical staff in athletes’ success. Spear concluded,
“Health care professionals keep our bodies going, and that’s our goal—to celebrate them and make sure that they get a podium of their own.”
