As National Athletic Training Month unfolds this March, Marshall County proudly celebrates Athletic Trainer Jen Salmon, a dedicated AT who has spent 21 years in the field, with the last nine serving the local community.
Beyond her duties with Marshall County Athletics, Trainer Jen also works as a physical therapy assistant at Atlas Physical Therapy, further demonstrating her commitment to injury recovery and rehabilitation. Her expertise benefits athletes, coaches, and parents alike, ensuring that players receive top-tier care from the moment an injury occurs to the time they step back onto the field.
“As the first medical professional on-site after an injury, Jen plays a critical role in emergency response, follow-up care, and return-to-play decisions,” said a Marshall County coach. “Her dedication goes far beyond game time.”
The Marshall County community is fortunate to have Jen, a true Champion in Healthcare, leading the way in athlete safety, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
This month, and every month, we recognize her dedication and impact—helping athletes stay strong, recover quickly, and return to the sports they love.
