Tennessee Schools Celebrate Their Amazing Athletic Trainer!

So, Bailey is renowned for her comprehensive care approach that encompasses both emergency response and rehabilitation.

Alongside her game-day duties, she works closely with injured athletes, doctors, and physical therapists to ensure their complete recovery. In the article, Bailey said: 

“Usually when there is an injury, it means that there is a weakness somewhere.  We work with the other medical professionals to not only get athletes back to where they were, but to come back better and stronger than before, not just physically but also mentally.”

Having experienced sports injuries herself in high school, she initially aimed for a career in physical therapy. However, a college assignment redirected her towards athletic training.

After excelling in Middle Tennessee State University's intensive Athletic Training Program, she took roles at Moore County High School and Motlow State.

Beyond her professional duties, Bailey is deeply connected with her athletes, building trust and ensuring they excel in their respective sports.

“I get the opportunity to watch these kids grow and excel in their chosen sport.  You become a confidant and a friend and get to be there for them when they need an ear.  As a trusted adult, you naturally build relationships and trust and you get close with them.  I strive to build a safe space here in the training room. I get to be in their universe and I love them like my own.”

This commitment and dedication have earned her widespread praise from Moore County's coaches, each attesting to her invaluable contribution to their teams.
