We're Hoping You Can Help Create Even More 'Safer Sidelines'!
Stephanie Kuzydym has done a lot to bring recognition to Athletic Trainers, the need for AEDs in schools, and the tragedies that have struck when neither were available. And now it's time to keep these conversations going... and we need your help!
Hopefully, you've all read her award-winning coverage and the Courier Journal's special report called "Safer Sidelines". If not, you can check it out here.
Stephanie has devoted a great deal of time to investigate the sudden deaths in high school sports, but we need to get the word out that more must be done.
How can you help?
She and her team have created a flyer — a high-resolution graphic — that can be printed up and displayed in ATRs, offices, classrooms, and school hallways. That can be given out to parents and displayed on the fields and in the gyms.
What we were hoping you would do is print out this flyer and do that exact thing!
There is a QR code on there that can take people to the Safer Sidelines story and they can learn more. And we can possibly help save lives...
We hope you can help!
She has created two versions of the high-rez flyer - one in English and one is Spanish - in PDF form, so hopefully you can print them out. If not, let us know and we can make up a different type of file for you:
And if you cannot print it, please forward the flyer on to others (email, share on social, text, etc.)
Thank you very much and we appreciate all that you do for your student-athletes!
Let us know if you have questions!
