Can You Prevent Workplace Injuries Before They Happen?

Written by Tim Clark | Jun 2, 2021 1:57:23 PM

According to the studies, 69% of all work injuries are preventable. While workplace incidents have slowly decreased over the years, the problems persist. So does this mean that employee incidents and lost work days are in inevitable cost of doing business?

At Healthy Roster, we decided to get to the root of the problem to see if we can help industrial companies, looking to prevent injuries before they happen, by providing techniques and tips in a new webinar.

Join us on Tuesday, June 8th, at noon eastern for this live event! There's no cost or obligation. We simply want to help your company focus on ergonomics and jobsite analysis to reduce employee incidents.

Does Prevention Outweigh the Costs of Conducting Business as Usual?

With nearly 70 percent of work-related injuries being considered preventable, did you know that 40% of those injuries are strains and tears and an additional 30% are musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs)? That can mean a lot of lost work time for your employees. Median lost time for those injuries is 11 days for MSDs and 10 days for tears and strains. But it's more than just the time employee spend away from work.

Identifying risks and conducting ergonomic safety measures will most certainly reduce work-related injuries but there are other added benefits to consider as well:

  • Reduced costs
  • Boosts in productivity
  • Improved work/product quality
  • Increased employee engagement & morale
  • Creating a safety culture across your company

We'll dive into more of the details during the webinar the will show you how "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" on Tuesday, June 8th

Can't make it to the webinar? No worries! Sign up and we'll be sure to send you the link to the webinar recording.
