Join Healthy Roster and the National Safety Council in welcoming in the 25th anniversary of National Safety Month!

This is an annual observance of the efforts to help keep workers safe while they are in the workplace.

Why is it vital to keep safety in mind at work?  According the NSC site:

"With the U.S. seeing the highest number of workplace deaths since 2007 – 5,333 fatal workplace injuries in 2019 – this observance is more important than ever."

We're encouraging industrial companies to get involved with this program from NSC and their sponsor EHS. The first topic for week one in their month-long campaign is a major part of how we help businesses keep workers safe while they're on the job.

Week 1 - Prevent Incidents Before They Start: Identifying risks and taking proactive safety measures to reduce hazard exposure on important topics from ergonomics to chemical management is crucial to creating a safe workplace.

NSC members and even non-members can sign up to receive National Safety Month materials on the pressing topics for each week, including access to several eBooks as well as being able to view on-demand webinars!

Here is a listing of their resources for: Week 1 - Prevent Incidents Before They Start:

eBooks

  • Incident Management 101
  • Ergonomics in the Design Manufacturing Process
